Given The Scale Of Life In The Cosmos, One Human Life Is No More Than A Tiny Blip. Each One Of Us Is A Just Visitor To This Planet, A Guest, Who Will Only Stay For A Limited Time. What Greater Folly Could There Be Than To Spend This Short Time Alone, Unhappy Or In Conflict With Our Companions? Far Better, Surely, To Use Our Short Time Here In Living A Meaningful Life, Enriched By Our Sense Of Connection With Others And Being Of Service To Them.

And Once Those With Material Wealth Encounter Small Difficulties, Their Amount Of Mental Suffering Is Sometimes Bigger Than It Is For Those Who Have Faced Such Difficulties Every Day.

Since Form Is Emptiness And Emptiness Is Form, Then Instead Of A Hand Grasping At Nothing, It Is Better To Grasp At Someone's Nose Because This Is Closer To Reality.

I Believe That We Are Fundamentally The Same And Have The Same Basic Potential.

I Believe That The Very Purpose Of Life Is To Be Happy. From The Very Core Of Our Being, We Desire Contentment. In My Own Limited Experience I Have Found That The More We Care For The Happiness Of Others, The Greater Is Our Own Sense Of Well-being.

Today We Understand That The Future Of Humanity Very Much Depends On Our Planet, And That The Future Of The Planet Very Much Depends On Humanity.

Then Another Thing, Now This Is Mainly For Our Interest About Tibet, Our Struggle. Whole Struggle Depend On Within Person. For Dangerous. Foolish! Not For This Only Institution Or Even Not Only For Buddhist Dogma, But Before National Sort Of Right, Our Right. So Therefore This Struggle Must Carried By People Themselves.

If We Can Manage To Refrain From Harming Others In Our Everyday Actions And Words, We Can Start To Give More Serious Attention To Actively Doing Good, And This Can Be A Source Of Great Joy And Inner Confidence. We Can Benefit Others Through Our Actions By Being Warm And Generous Toward Them, By Being Charitable, And By Helping Those In Need.

Developing Concern For Others, Thinking Of Them As Part Of Us, Brings Self-confidence , Reduces Our Sense Of Suspicion And Mistrust, And Enables Us To Develop A Calm Mind.

Now You Are On The Buddhist Way. Keep Up Your Meditation, As There Is No Instant Illumination. The Mind Moves Slowly Into This. Do Not Become Attached To Your Method. When, In The Course Of Your Meditation, Your Consciousness Will Have Expanded And Been Transformed, You Will Then Recognize That All The Ways Are Valid Ways.

The Need For Love Lies At The Very Foundation Of Human Existence.

All Beings Come From A Mother's Womb. We Should Have A Clear Realization Of The Oneness Of All Humanity.

Once A Positive Goal Is Chosen, You Should Decide To Pursue It All The Way To The End. Even If It Is Not Realized, At Least There Will Be No Regret.

The Rationale For Loving Others Is The Recognition Of The Simple Fact That Every Living Being Has The Same Right To And The Same Desire For Happiness, And Not Suffering, And The Consideration That You As One Individual Are One Life Unit As Compared With The Mulititude Of Others In Their Ceaseless Quest For Happiness.

We Forget That Despite The Superficial Differences Between Us, People Are Equal In Their Basic Wish For Peace And Happiness.

Because We All Share An Identical Need For Love, It Is Possible To Feel That Anybody We Meet, In Whatever Circumstances, Is A Brother Or Sister.

If Someone Remains In A Peaceful And Tranquil State Of Mind, External Surroundings Can Cause Them Only A Limited Disturbance.

It Is Very Wrong For People To Feel Deeply Sad When They Lose Some Money, Yet When They Waste The Precious Moments Of Their Lives They Do Not Have The Slightest Feeling Of Repentance.

When Young We Have A Vivid Sense Of Basic Values Like Trust And Warm-heartedness, Which We Tend To Neglect In Today's Competitive World As We Grow Up, Yet From Birth We All Have A Need For Affection. The Emotions We Experience Today Have Not Changed Much Over The Last Few Thousand Years, But The Interest Increasing Numbers Of People Are Showing In Their Inner World And How Their Emotions Work Is A Sign Of Maturity.

I Consider Myself To Be Just One Among 7 Billion Human Beings. If I Were To Think Of Myself As Different From Others, Or As Something Special, It Would Create A Barrier Between Us. What Makes Us The Same Is That We All Want To Lead Happy Lives And Gather Friends Around Us. And Friendship Is Based On Trust, Honesty And Openness.

One Of The Expressions Of Western Over-reliance On Technology Can Be Seen In The Lack Of Patience In Industrial Society. When You Deal With Technology, Everything Happens At The Touch Of A Button. This Conditions You To Become So Impatient That When You Have An Emotional Or Personal Crisis, You Don't Allow Time For The Solution To Take Effect. This Leads To All Sorts Of Rash Responses, Like Quarrels, Fights And So On.

Just Give Food Without Showing Affection, [animals] Might Not Get Sort Of 100% Satisfaction. So They Also, You See, When We Human Beings, We Show Affection, The Poor Animal Also Respond To Us.

Our Prime Purpose In This Life Is To Help Others. And If You Can't Help Them, At Least Don't Hurt Them.

With A Basic Understanding Of All Humans As Brothers And Sisters, We Can Appreciate The Usefulness Of Different Systems And Ideologies That Can Accommodate Different Individuals And Groups With Different Cultural Heritages, Having Different Dispositions And Tastes. Each Person Has The Right To Choose Whatever Is Most Suitable, On The Basis Of A Deep Understanding Of All Others As Brothers And Sisters.

Time Passes Unhindered. When We Make Mistakes, We Cannot Turn The Clock Back And Try Again. All We Can Do Is Use The Present Well.

A Good Motivation Is What Is Needed: Compassion Without Dogmatism, Without Complicated Philosophy; Just Understanding That Others Are Human Brothers And Sisters And Respecting Their Human Rights And Dignities. That We Humans Can Help Each Other Is One Of Our Unique Human Capacities.

Religious Belief Is Not A Precondition Either Of Ethical Conduct Or Of Happiness.

There Is Only One Important Point You Must Keep In Your Mind And Let It Be Your Guide. No Matter What People Call You, You Are Just Who You Are. Keep To This Truth. You Must Ask Yourself How Is It You Want To Live Your Life. We Live And We Die, This Is The Truth That We Can Only Face Alone. No One Can Help Us, Not Even The Buddha. So Consider Carefully, What Prevents You From Living The Way You Want To Live Your Life?

As A Human Being, Anger Is A Part Of Our Mind. Irritation Also Part Of Our Mind. But You Can Do - Anger Come, Go. Never Keep In Your Sort Of - Your Inner World, Then Create A Lot Of Suspicion, A Lot Of Distrust, A Lot Of Negative Things, More Worry.

My Call For A Spiritual Revolution Is Not A Call For A Religious Revolution. Nor Is It A Reference To A Way Of Life That Is Somehow Otherworldly, Still Less To Something Magical Or Mysterious. Rather It Is A Call For A Radical Reorientation Away From Our Habitual Preoccupation With Self. It Is A Call To Turn Toward The Wider Community Of Beings With Whom We Are Connected, And For Conduct Which Recognizes Others' Interests Alongside Our Own.

Anger Or Hatred Is Like A Fisherman's Hook. It Is Very Important For Us To Ensure That We Are Not Caught By It.
