Jesus Said, 'go ... And Make Disciples,' Not Converts To Your Opinions.

Do I Believe That God Can Change Bitter Circumstances Into Sweet Blessing? Am I Willing To Let Him?

Prayer Is The Exercise Of Drawing On The Grace Of God.

Never Make A Principle Out Of Your Experience. Allow God To Be As Creative With Others As He Is With You.

A Saint Realizes That It Is God Who Engineers His Circumstances; Consequently There Are No Complaints, Only Unrestrained Surrender To Jesus.

When We Lose Sight Of God We Become Hard And Dogmatic. We Hurl Our Own Petitions At God's Throne And Dictate To Him As To What We Wish Him To Do. We Do Not Worship God, Nor Do We Seek To Form The Mind Of Christ. If We Are Hard Towards God, We Will Become Hard Towards Other People.

If For One Whole Day, Quietly And Determinedly, We Were To Give Ourselves Up To The Ownership Of Jesus And To Obeying His Orders, We Should Be Amazed At Its Close To Realize All He Had Packed Into That One Day.

If We Have A Further End In View, We Do Not Pay Sufficient Attention To The Immediate Present; If We Realize That Obedience Is The End, Then Each Moment As It Comes Is Precious.

We Are Apt To Think That Everything That Happens To Us Is To Be Turned Into Useful Teaching; It Is To Be Turned Into Something Better Than Teaching, Into Character. We Shall Find That The Spheres God Brings Us Into Are Not Meant To Teach Us Something But To Make Us Something.

The Christian Church Should Not Be A Secret Society Of Specialists, But A Public Manifestation Of Believers In Jesus.

We Sit Down At The Door Of God’s Purpose And Enter A Slow Death Through Self-pity. And All The So-called Christian Sympathy Of Others Helps Us To Our Deathbed. But God Will Not. He Comes With The Grip Of The Pierced Hand Of His Son, As If To Say, “enter Into Fellowship With Me; Arise And Shine.” If God Can Accomplish His Purposes In This World Through A Broken Heart, Then Why Not Thank Him For Breaking Yours?

When God Gives A Vision, Transact Business On That Line, No Matter What It Costs.

God’s Training Is For Now, Not Presently. His Purpose Is For This Minute, Not For Something In The Future. We Have Nothing To Do With The Afterwards Of Obedience; We Can Get It Wrong When We Think Of The Afterwards. You Do Not Know What You Are Going To Do,the Only Thing You Know Is That God Knows What He Is Doing.......it Is This Attitude That Keeps You In Perpetual Wonder-you Do Not Know What God Is Going To Do Next.

Prayer Is Not A Preparation For Work, It Is Work. Prayer Is Not A Preparation For The Battle, It Is The Battle. Prayer Is Two-fold: Definite Asking And Definite Waiting To Receive.

Never Try To Help God Fulfill His Word.

We Lean To Our Own Understanding, Or We Bank On Service And Do Away With Prayer, And Consequently By Succeeding In The External We Fail In The Eternal, Because In The Eternal We Succeed Only By Prevailing Prayer.

Some Prayers Are Followed By Silence (from God) Because They Are Wrong, Others Because They Are Bigger Than One Can Understand. It Will Be A Wonderful Moment For Some Of Us When We Stand Before God And Find That The Prayers We Clamored For In Early Days And Imagined Were Never Answered, Have Been Answered In The Most Amazing Way, And That God's Silence Has Been The Sign Of The Answer.

It Is Not A Lack Of Spiritual Experience That Leads To Failure, But A Lack Of Working To Keep Our Eyes Focused And On The Right Goal. At Least Once A Week Examine Yourself Before God To See If Your Life Is Measuring Up To The Standard He Has For You. Paul Was Like A Musician Who Gives No Thought To Audience Approval, If He Can Only Catch A Look Of Approval From His Conductor.

Never Allow Anything That Divides Or Destroys The Oneness Of Your Life With Christ To Remain In Your Life Without Facing It.

A Saint Is Never Consciously A Saint- A Saint Is Consciously Dependent On God.

Do We Not See God At Work In Our Circumstances? Dark Times Are Allowed And Come To Us Through The Sovreignty Of God. Are We Prepared To Let God Do What He Wants With Us? Are We Prepared To Be Separated From The Outward, Evident Blessings Of God? Until Jesus Christ Is Truly Our Lord, We Each Have Goals Of Our Own Which We Serve. Our Faith Is Real, But It Is Not Yet Permanent. And God Is Never In A Hurry. If We Are Willing To Wait, We Will See God Pointing Out That We Have Been Interested Only In His Blessings, Instead Of God Himself.

Never Let The Sense Of Failure Corrupt Your New Action.

It Never Cost A Disciple Anything To Follow Jesus; To Talk About Cost When You Are In Love With Anyone Is An Insult.

The Men With God's 'go' In Them Have These Three Characteristics-a Saving Experience, The Evidence Of Supernatural Power At Work, And The Spiritual Efficacy Of Success In Prayer.

It Is Easy To Say We Believe In God As Long As We Remain In The Little World We Choose To Live In; But Get Out Into The Great World Of Facts, The Noisy World Where People Are Absolutely Indifferent To You, Where Your Message Is Nothing More Than A Crazy Tale Belonging To A Bygone Age, Can You Believe God There?

We Look Upon The Enemy Of Our Souls As A Conquered Foe, So He Is, But Only To God, Not To Us.

Think Of The Enormous Leisure Of God! He Is Never In A Hurry. We Are Always In Such A Frantic Hurry. In The Light Of The Glory Of The Vision We Go Forth To Do Things, But The Vision Is Not Real In Us Yet; And God Has To Take Us Into The Valley, And Put Us Through Fires And Floods To Batter Us Into Shape, Until We Get To The Place Where He Can Trust Us.... Let Him Put You On His Wheel And Whirl You As He Likes, And As Sure As God Is God And You Are You, You Will Turn Out Exactly In Accordance With The Vision. Don't Lose Heart In The Process.

We Are Not Made For The Mountains, For Sunrises, Or For The Other Beautiful Attractions In Life - Those Are Simply Intended To Be Moments Of Inspiration. We Are Made For The Valley And The Ordinary Things Of Life And That Is Where We Have To Prove Our Stamina And Strength.

For One Man Who Can Introduce Another To Jesus Christ By The Way He Lives And By The Atmosphere Of His Life, There Are A Thousand Who Can Only Talk Jargon About Him

If You Want To Be Of Use To God, Maintain The Proper Relationship With Jesus Christ By Staying Focused On Him & He Will Make Use Of You Every Minute You Live- Yet You Will Be Unaware, On The Conscious Level Of Your Life, That You Are Being Used Of Him.

Our Lord Insists On The Social Aspect Of Our Lives: He Shows Very Distinctly That We Cannot Further Ourselves Alone.

The Central Point Of The Kingdom Of Jesus Christ Is A Personal Relationship With Him, Not Public Usefulness To Others.

Am I Always In Contact With Reality, Or Do I Only Pray When Things Have Gone Wrong, When There Is A Disturbance In The Moments Of My Life?

Remember Whose You Are And Whom You Serve.

The Characteristic Of A Disciple Is Not That He Does Good Things, But That He Is Good In His Motives, Having Been Made Good By The Supernatural Grace Of God.

It Is Better To Enter Into Life Maimed But Lovely In God’s Sight Than To Appear Lovely To Man’s Eyes But Lame To God’s.

Are You Learning To Say Things After Listening To God, Or Are You Saying Things And Trying To Make God's Word Fit In?

If There Were Never Any Clouds (sorrows And Sufferings) In Our Lives, We Would Have No Faith. God Does Not Come Near Us Without Clouds.
