Sanctification Means The Impartation Of The Holy Qualities Of Jesus Christ. Sanctification Is Not Drawing From Jesus The Power To Be Holy; It Is Drawing From Jesus The Holiness That Was Manifested In Him, And He Manifests It In Me.

Watch The Things You Say You Can't Believe, And Then Recall The Things You Accept Without Thinking, Like Your Own Existence.

The Emphasis To-day Is Being Put On The Fact That We Have To Save Men; We Have Not. We Have To Exalt The Saviour Who Saves Men, And Then Make Disciples In His Name.

When A Man Is Born From Above, The Life Of The Son Of God Is Born In Him, And He Can Either Starve That Life Or Nourish It. Prayer Is The Way The Life Of God Is Nourished. Our Ordinary Views Of Prayer Are Not Found In The New Testament. We Look Upon Prayer As A Means Of Getting Things For Ourselves; The Bible's Idea Of Prayer Is That We May Get To Know God Himself.

We Are In Danger Of Forgetting That We Cannot Do What God Does, And That God Will Not Do What We Can Do. We Cannot Save Ourselves Nor Sanctify Ourselves, God Does That; But God Will Not Give Us Good Habits, He Will Not Give Us Character, He Will Not Make Us Walk Aright. We Have To Do All That Ourselves.

As Soon As We Abandon Ourselves To God And Do The Task He Has Placed Closest To Us, He Begins To Fill Our Lives With Surprises.

God Does Not Make Us Holy In The Sense Of Character; He Makes Us Holy In The Sense Of Innocence, And We Have To Turn That Innocence Into Holy Character By A Series Of Moral Choices.

Keep Your Life In Its Constant Contact With God That His Surprising Power May Break Out On The Right Hand And On The Left. Always Be In A State Of Expectancy, And See That You Leave Room For God To Come In As He Likes.

Beware Of Any Belief That Makes You Self-indulgent; It Came From The Pit, No Matter How Beautiful It Sounds.

It Is A Great Thing To See Physical Courage, And Greater Still To See Moral Courage, But The Greatest To See Of All Is Spiritual Courage; Oh, To See A Person Who Will Stand True To The Integrity Of Jesus Christ No Matter What He Or She Goes Through!
