You Must Learn To "go Out" Through Your Convictions, Creeds, Or Experiences Until You Come To The Point In Your Faith Where There Is Nothing Between Yourself And God.

Today Jesus Christ Is Being Dispatched As The Figurehead Of A Religion, A Mere Example. He Is That, But He Is Infinitely More; He Is Salvation Itself, He Is The Gospel Of God.

Faith For My Deliverance Is Not Faith In God. Faith Means, Whether I Am Visibly Delivered Or Not, I Will Stick To My Belief That God Is Love.

Faith Never Knows Where It Is Being Led, It Knows And Loves The One Who Is Leading. Faith Is Not Resignation To A Power We Do Not Know; Faith Is Committal To One Whose Character We Do Know Because It Has Been Revealed To Us In Jesus Christ.

When A Man Gets To Despair He Knows That All His Thinking Will Never Get Him Out. He Will Only Get Out By The Sheer Creative Effort Of God. Consequently He Is In The Right Attitude To Receive From God That Which He Cannot Gain For Himself.

We Always Have Visions, Before A Thing Is Made Real. When We Realize That Although The Vision Is Real, It Is Not Real In Us, Then Is The Time That Satan Comes In With His Temptations, And We Are Apt To Say That It Is No Use To Go On. Our Work Is Not To Save Souls, But To Disciple Them. God Brings Us Up To A Standard Of Life Through His Grace, And We Are Responsible For Reproducing That Same Standard In Others.

And It Is Not Repentance That Saves Me — Repentance Is Only The Sign That I Realize What God Has Done Through Christ Jesus.

When He Tells You Something And You Begin To Debate, It Is Because You Have A Misunderstanding Of What Honors Him And What Doesn't. Are You Faithful To Jesus, Or Faithful To Your Ideas About Him?

Spiritual Maturity Is Not Reached By The Passing Of The Years, But By Obedience To The Will Of God. Some People Mature Into An Understanding Of God’s Will More Quickly Than Others Because They Obey More Readily; They More Readily Sacrifice The Life Of Nature To The Will Of God.

God Is Not Saving The World; It Is Done. Our Business Is To Get Men And Women To Realize It.

Sanctification Means The Impartation Of The Holy Qualities Of Jesus Christ. So Many Of Us Limit Our Praying Because We Are Not Reckless In Our Confidence In God. In The Eyes Of Those Who Do Not Know God, It Is Madness To Trust Him, But When We Pray In The Holy Spirit We Begin To Realize The Resources Of God, That He Is Our Perfect Heavenly Father, And We Are His Children.

Temptations In The Life Of Faith Are Not Accidents; Each Temptation Is Part Of A Plan, A Step In The Progress Of Faith.

God's End Is To Enable Me To See That He Can Walk On The Chaos Of My Life Just Now.

The Christian Life Is Stamped By 'moral Spontaneous Originality,' Consequently The Disciple Is Open To The Same Charge That Jesus Christ Was, Viz., That Of Inconsistency. But Jesus Christ Was Always Consistent To God, And The Christian Must Be Consistent To The Life Of The Son Of God In Him, Not Consistent To Hard And Fast Creeds. Men Pour Themselves Into Creeds, And God Has To Blast Them Out Of Their Prejudices Before They Can Become Devoted To Jesus Christ.

Never Take Your Obedience As The Reason God Blesses You; Obedience Is The Outcome Of Being Rightly Related To God.

Never Water Down Or Minimise The Mighty Gospel Of God By Considering That People May Be Misled By Certain Statements. Present The Gospel In All Its Fullness And God Will Guard His Own Truth.

Take Yourself By The Scruff Of The Neck And Shake Off Your Incarnate Laziness.

Don't Plan Without God. God Seems To Have A Delightful Way Of Upsetting The Plans We Have Made, When We Have Not Taken Him Into Account.

We Have An Idea That God Is Leading Us To A Particular End, A Desired Goal; He Is Not...what We Call The Process God Calls The End. His Purpose Is That I Depend On Him And His Power Now. It Is The Process, Not The End That Is Glorifying To God.

How Many People Have You Made Homesick For God?

God Judges Us On The Basis Of The Miraculous Atonement By The Cross Of Christ.

One Of The Greatest Snares Is The Number Of Good Things We Might Do. Jesus Christ Never Did The Good Things He Might Have Done, He Did Everything He Ought To Do Because He Had His Eye Fixed On His Father's Will And He Sacrificed Himself For His Father.

Prayer Is The Practice Of Drawing On The Grace Of God. Don't Say, "i Will Endure This Until I Can Get Away And Pray." Pray Now - Draw On The Grace Of God In Your Moment Of Need. Prayer Is The Most Normal And Useful Thing; It Is Not Simply A Reflex Action Of Your Devotion To God. We Are Very Slow To Learn To Draw On God's Grace Through Prayer.

No Healthy Christian Ever Chooses Suffering; He Chooses God's Will, As Jesus Did, Whether It Means Suffering Or Not.

God Never Estimates What We Give From Impulse. We Are Given Credit For What We Determine In Our Hearts To Give; For The Giving That Is Governed By A Fixed Determination. The Spirit Of God Revolutionises Our Philanthropic Instincts. Much Of Our Philanthropy Is Simply The Impulse To Save Ourselves An Uncomfortable Feeling. The Spirit Of God Alters All That. As Saints Our Attitude Towards Giving Is That We Give For Jesus Christ's Sake, And From No Other Motive.

Prayer Is God's Answer To Our Poverty, Not A Power We Exercise To Obtain An Answer.
