Let Him Put You On His Wheel And Whirl You As He Likes, And As Sure As God Is God And You Are You, You Will Turn Out Exactly In Accordance With The Vision. Don't Lose Heart In The Process.

Whenever God Touches Sin It Is Independence That Is Touched, An That Awakens Resentment In The Human Heart. Independence Must Be Blasted Clean Out, There Must Be No Such Thing Left, Only Freedom Which Is Very Different. Freedom Is The Ability Not To Insist On My Rights, But To See That God Gets His

Prayer Is The Vital Breath Of The Christian; Not The Thing That Makes Him Alive, But The Evidence That He Is Alive.

Your God May Be Your Little Christian Habit - The Habit Of Prayer Or Bible Reading At Certain Times Of Your Day. Watch How Your Father Will Upset Your Schedule If You Begin To Worship Your Habit Instead Of What The Habit Symbolizes. We Say, 'i Can't Do That Right Now; This Is My Time Alone With God.' No, This Is Your Time Alone With Your Habit.

To Say That 'prayer Changes Things' Is Not As Close To The Truth As Saying, 'prayer Changes Me And Then I Change Things.' God Has Established Things So That Prayer, On The Basis Of Redemption, Changes The Way A Person Looks At Things.

When We Are Consciously Aware Of Being Used As Broken Bread And Poured Out Wine, We Have Yet Another Level To Reach - A Level Where All Awareness Of Ourselves And What God Is Doing Through Us Is Completely Eliminated. A Saint Is Never Consciously A Saint - A Saint Is Consciously Dependent On God.

A Life Of Intimacy With God Is Characterized By Joy.

Disillusionment Means Having No More Misconceptions, False Impressions, And False Judgments In Life; It Means Being Free From These Deceptions. Refusing To Be Disillusioned Is The Cause Of Much Of The Suffering Of Human Life.

I Have To Learn That The Aim In Life Is God's, Not Mine.

Am I Prepared To Let God Grip Me By His Power And Do A Work In Me That Is Worthy Of Himself? Sanctification Is Not My Idea Of What I Want God To Do For Me; Sanctification Is God's Idea Of What He Wants To Do For Me, And He Has To Get Me Into The Attitude Of Mind And Spirit Where At Any Cost I Will Let Him Sanctify Me Wholly.

Our Lord Never Referred To Unanswered Prayer. He Taught That Prayers Are Always Answered: “everyone Who Asks Receives”. And He Implied That Prayers Are Answered Rightly Because Of The Heavenly Father's Wisdom: “your Father Knows The Things You Have Need Of Before You Ask Him”.

God Never Forces A Person's Will Into Surrender, And He Never Begs. He Patiently Waits Until That Person Willingly Yields To Him. True Surrender Is A Matter Of Being 'united Together [with Jesus] In The Likeness Of His Death' (romans 6:5) Until Nothing Ever Appeals To You That Did Not Appeal To Him. And After You Surrender--then What? Your Entire Life Should Be Characterized By An Eagerness To Maintain Unbroken Fellowship And Oneness With God.

All Our Fret And Worry Is Caused By Calculating Without God.

The Nature Of The Spiritual Life Is That We Are Certain In Our Uncertainty.

I Am Called To Live In Such A Perfect Relationship With God That My Life Produces A Yearning For God In The Lives Of Others, Not Admiration For Myself. Thoughts About Myself Hinder My Usefulness To God. God’s Purpose Is Not To Perfect Me To Make Me A Trophy In His Showcase; He Is Getting Me To The Place Where He Can Use Me. Tolerating A Wrong Attitude Toward Another Person Causes You To Follow The Spirit Of The Devil, No Matter How Saintly You Are.

Watch Your Motive Before God; Have No Other Motive In Prayer Than To Know Him.

Beware Of Anything That Competes With Your Loyalty To Jesus Christ.

A Sentimentalist Is One Who Delights To Have High And Devout Emotions Stirred Whilst Reading In An Arm-chair, Or In A Prayer Meeting, But He Never Translates His Emotions Into Action. Consequently A Sentimentalist Is Usually Callous, Self-centred And Selfish, Because The Emotions He Likes To Have Stirred Do Not Cost Him Anything.

The Good Is Always The Enemy Of The Best.
