How Can Such Episodes Of Such Savage Cruelty Happen? The Heart Of Man Is An Abyss Out Of Which Sometimes Emerge Plots Of Unspeakable Ferocity Capable Of Overturning In An Instant The Tranquil And Productive Life Of A People.

Eucharistic Worship Is Not So Much Worship Of The Inaccessible Transcendence As Worship Of The Divine Condescension, And It Is Also The Merciful And Redeeming Transformation Of The World In The Human Heart

Christians, In Particular, Realize That Their Responsibility Within Creation And Their Duty Towards Nature And The Creator Are An Essential Part Of Their Faith.

In Order To See Jesus, We First Need To Let Him Look At Us!

Today, The Scale And Horror Of Modern Warfare - Whether Nuclear Or Not - Makes It Totally Unacceptable As A Means Of Settling Differences Between Nations. War Should Belong To The Tragic Past, To History; It Should Find No Place On Humanity's Agenda For The Future.

The Eucharist Is Not Only A Particularly Intense Expression Of The Reality Of The Church's Life, But Also In A Sense Its Fountainhead. Because Of This Vital Link With The Sacrament Of The Body And Blood Of The Lord, The Mystery Of The Church Is Savored, Proclaimed, And Lived Supremely In The Eucharist.

Those In Society Who Are In Charge Of Schools Must Never Forget That The Parents Have Been Appointed By God Himself As The First And Principal Educators Of Their Children And That Their Right Is Completely Inalienable.

It Can Therefore Be Said That, From The Viewpoint Of The Doctrine Of The Faith, There Are No Difficulties In Explaining The Origin Of Man In Regard To The Body, By Means Of The Theory Of Evolution.

Although Faith Provides Special Light And Strength, This Question Arises In Every Human Conscience Which Seeks The Truth And Which Cares About The Future Of Humanity. Life Certainly Has A Sacred And Religious Value, But In No Way Is That Value A Concern Only Of Believers. In The Past, It Was Possible To Destroy A Village, A Town, A Region, Even A Country. Now It Is The Whole Planet That Has Come Under Threat.
