The Church Is Likewise Conscious Of The Responsibility Which All Of Us Have For Our World, For The Whole Of Creation, Which We Must Love And Protect. There Is Much That We Can Do To Benefit The Poor, The Needy And Those Who Suffer, And To Favour Justice, Promote Reconciliation And Build Peace. But Before All Else We Need To Keep Alive In Our World The Thirst For The Absolute, And To Counter The Dominance Of A One-dimensional Vision Of The Human Person, A Vision Which Reduces Human Beings To What They Produce And To What They Consume: This Is One Of The Most Insidious Temptations Of Our Time.

A Christian Brings Peace To Others. Not Only Peace, But Also Love, Kindness, Faithfulness And Joy.

In The Poor And Outcast We See Christ’s Face; By Loving And Helping The Poor, We Love And Serve Christ.

Let Us Ask The Holy Spirit For The Grace To Live Daily According To The Mind Of Jesus And His Gospel.

I Have Decided To Proclaim For The Whole Church... A Day Of Fasting And Prayer For Peace In Syria, The Middle East, And Throughout The World, And I Also Invite Each Person, Including Our Fellow Christians, Followers Of Other Religions And All Men Of Good Will, To Participate, In Whatever Way They Can, In This Initiative.

A Love So Great That It Enters Into Our Sin And Forgives It, Enters Into Our Suffering And Gives Us The Strength To Bear It. It Is A Love Which Enters Into Death To Conquer It And Save Us.

Proclaim The Beauty And Truth Of The Christian Message To A Society Which Is Tangent By Confusing Presentations Of Sexuality, Marriage And The Family.

We Have Begun A Throw Away Culture. This Tendency Is Seen On The Level Of Individuals And Whole Societies; And It Is Being Promoted! In Circumstances Like These, Solidarity, Which Is The Treasure Of The Poor, Is Often Considered Counterproductive, Opposed To The Logic Of Finance And The Economy. While The Income Of A Minority Is Increasing Exponentially, That Of The Majority Is Crumbling.

Don't Be Afraid To Go Against The Current, When They Want To Steal Our Hope, When They Propose Rotten Values To Us, Values Like Food That Has Gone Bad-and When Food Has Gone Bad It Makes Us Sick, These Values Make Us Sick. We Have To Go Against The Current! And You, Young People, Be The First: Go Against The Grain And Be Proud Of Going Against The Grain. Go On, Be Brave And Go Against The Current! And Be Proud Of Doing It!

We Are Called To Reach Out To Those Who Find Themselves In The Existential Peripheries Of Our Societies And To Show Particular Solidarity With The Most Vulnerable Of Our Brothers And Sisters: The Poor, The Disabled, The Unborn And The Sick, Migrants And Refugees, The Elderly And The Young Who Lack Employment.

Anyone Who Wants To Be Pope Doesn't Care Much For Themselves, God Doesn't Bless Them. I Didn't Want To Be Pope.

The Life Of A Family Is Filled With Beautiful Moments: Rest, Meals Together, Walks In The Park Or The Countryside, Visits To Grandparents Or To A Sick Person... But If Love Is Missing, Joy Is Missing, Nothing Is Fun. Jesus Gives Always Gives Us That Love: He Is Its Endless Source. In The Sacrament He Gives Us His Word And He Gives Us The Bread Of Life, So That Our Joy May Be Complete.

The Process Of Healing Also Needs To Include The Pursuit Of Truth, Not For The Sake Of Opening Old Wounds, But Rather As A Necessary Means Of Promoting Justice, Healing And Unity.

I Have Heard It Said That Families With Many Children And High Birth Rates Are Among The Cause Of Poverty. It Seems To Me A Simplistic Opinion. I Can Say That The Main Cause Of Poverty Is An Economic System That Has Removed The Person From The Center.

If Someone Is Gay And Is Searching For The Lord And Has Good Will, Then Who Am I To Judge Him? ... The Problem Is Not Having This Tendency, No, We Must Be Brothers And Sisters To One Another. The Problem Is In Making A Lobby Of This Tendency: A Lobby Of Misers, A Lobby Of Politicians, A Lobby Of Masons, So Many Lobbies.

No One Is Saved Alone, As An Isolated Individual, But God Attracts Us Looking At The Complex Web Of Relationships That Take Place In The Human Community. God Enters Into This Dynamic, This Participation In The Web Of Human Relationships.
