I Am Convinced That Life In A Physical Body Is Meant To Be An Ecstatic Experience

When We Consistently Suppress And Distrust Our Intuitive Knowingness, Looking Instead For Authority, Validation, And Approval From Others, We Give Our Personal Power Away.

Healing Ourselves On The Spiritual Level Involves Developing A Strong Connection With Our Soul. We Heal Ourselves On The Mental Level As We Become Aware Of Our Core Beliefs, Release Those That Limit Us, And Open To More Supportive Ideas And Greater Understanding. The More Light You Allow Within You, The Brighter The World You Live In Will Be.

I Think In The Western World We Have Gotten Overly Identified With Doing, And We've Kind Of Forgotten About The Art Of Being. And We Don't See Value In It; We Think That If You're Not Doing Something All Of The Time, Being Very Active And Producing Something, Then You're Sort Of Wasting Your Time.

The Most Powerful Thing You Can Do To Change The World Is To Change Your Own Beliefs About The Nature Of Life, People, And Reality To Something More Positive... And Begin To Act Accordingly.

If You Run, Or Dance, Or Do Something Kind Of Vigorous, And Let The Energy Release, Then Sometimes It's Easier To Sit Or Lie Down And Then Feel At Ease And Rest And Be Quiet And Move Inside.

When I Wrote Living In The Light, I Wanted To Share About How I Live My Own Life And To Encourage People To Tap Into Their Own Inner Wisdom.

As You Learn To Consciously Observe The Transformation Process, You Will Watch Yourself Repeating A Lot Of Old Patterns Long After You Seemingly Know Better. Spiritually And Intellectually, You Realize There Is Another Way, But Emotionally You Are Still Clinging To The Old Habits. This Is A Difficult Time. We Have Been Accustomed To Thinking That We Have To Get Something From Outside Us In Order To Be Happy, But In Truth It Works The Other Way: We Must Learn To Contact Our Inner Source Of Happiness And Satisfaction And Flow It Outward To Share With Others-not Because It Is Virtuous To Do So, But Because It Really Feels Good.

People Who Really Want To Be In A Relationship Are In One.

In Many Other Cultures, And Certainly In The Eastern World, There's Great Value Put On Being, Contemplating, And Even Withdrawing From The World At Certain Times Or For Certain Periods Of Time. But We Don't Really Have That In Our Culture, So It's Difficult For Many Westerners To Learn How To Sit Down Or Lie Down And Just Be Quiet Without Going To Sleep. We're Just Not Trained To Do It.

A Painful Time In Our Life Is What I Call A Healing Crisis. We Are Letting Go Of Something Old And Opening To Something New.

Much Of The Western World Emphasizes Rationality And Reason, But Overlooks Or Ignores The Enormous Value Of Intuition And Instinctive Wisdom.

Beingness, Doingness And Havingness Are Like A Triangle Where Each Side Supports The Others. They Are Not In Conflict With Each Other. They All Exist Simultaneously. Often People Attempt To Live Their Lives Backwards: They Try To Have More Things, Or More Money, In Order To Do More Of What They Want, So That They Will Be Happier. The Way It Actually Works Is The Reverse. You Must First Be Who You Really Are, Then Do What You Need To Do, In Order To Have What You Want.

Creative Power Has To Filter Through Our Beliefs, Attitudes, Emotions, And Habits. The More Negative And Constricted Our Beliefs And Patterns Are, The More They Block The Creative Energy. Most People Hope That By Ignoring Negativity, It Will Go Away, But The Reverse Is Actually True. Through Recognizing, Acknowledging, And Experiencing It, The Blocked Energy Can Be Released. You Are Then Free To Replace It With Positive Beliefs And Attitudes.

If You Are Always Waiting To Be, Do, Or Have What You Want, Your Energy Becomes Blocked. Your Body May Reflect This In Excess Weight Or Other Physical Problems. Express Yourself Directly. Set Clear Boundaries With Other People And Do What You Need To Do To Take Good Care Of Yourself. Energy Will Then Move Freely Through Your Body And This Circulation Will Dissolve Any Excess Weight. The More You Are Willing To Be Yourself, The Less You'll Need To Use Food As A Substitute Nurturer. You Will Be Receiving The Natural Nurturing Of The Universe.

Your Intuition Will Most Likely Push You Gently Toward Taking Some Appropriate Risks And Trying New Things.

There Is A Wise Being Living Inside Of You. It Is Your Intuitive Self. Focus Your Awareness Into A Deep Place In Your Body, A Place Where Your "gut Feelings" Reside. You Can Communicate With It By Silently Talking To It, Making Requests, Or Asking Questions. Then Relax, Don't Think Too Hard With Your Mind, And Be Open To Receiving Answers. They Are Usually Very Simple And Relate To The Present Moment, Not The Past Or The Future, And They Feel Right.

It Does Not Always Help To Analyze And Think About Problems With Your Rational Mind. Sometimes It Is Far More Effective To Turn To Your Inner Self, To Ask The Universe For Help. Simply Sit Quietly. Take A Few Deep Breaths And Focus Your Awareness Within. Ask Your Wise Inner Self, Either Silently Or Aloud, For Guidance Or Help In Understanding The Message. As You Get A Sense Of What Feels Right, Act On This Feeling.

If We Look Honestly At Our Relationships, We Can See So Much About How We Have Created Them

There Is No Separation Between Us And God-we Are Divine Expressions Of The Creative Principle...there Can Be No Real Lack Or Scarcity; There Is Nothing We Have To Try To Achieve Or Attract; We Contain The Potential For Everything Within Us.

A Deadness Occurs In Relationships When People Are No Longer Willing To Tell Each Other How They Really Feel. When People First Fall In Love They're More Willing To Do This Because They're Still Getting To Know Each Other And Dependency Has Not Yet Set In. As Soon As It Does, Though, People Often Stop Sharing Their True Feelings Out Of Fear Of Loss.

Every Time You Have A Desire, In A Certain Sense You Have A Goal, Something You Would Like To Be, Do, Or Have. Some Desires Are Merely Passing Fancies, But Others Stay With Us And Go Deeper. Our Desires And Our Goals Give Us Direction And Focus. They Help Point Us Down Our Path Of Action In Our Life.

We All Have Within Us A Deep Sense Of What We Need, And What Is Right And True For Us. To Access This We Need To Pay Attention To Our Feelings And Our Intuition. We Need To Learn To Listen Deeply To Ourselves And To Trust What We Hear. And We Need To Risk Acting On What We Feel To Be True. Even If We Make Mistakes, We Must Do This In Order To Learn And Grow.

Our Negative Thoughts Are Valuable Messages To Us About Our Deeper Fears And Negative Attitudes. These Usually Are So Basic To Our Thinking And Feeling That We Don't Realize They Are Beliefs At All. We Assume That They Are Simply "the Way Life Is." We May Be Consciously Affirming And Visualizing Prosperity, But If Our Unconscious Belief Is That We Don't Deserve It, Then We Won't Create It. Once We Become Aware Of Our Core Negative Beliefs, They Begin To Heal.

We Can Learn To Move Into The Unknown With The Confidence That We Have A Guiding Force Within Us That Is Showing Us The Way.

When I'm Trusting And Being Myself As Fully As Possible, Everything In My Life Reflects This By Falling Into Place Easily, Often Miraculously.

Change Happens Not By Trying To Make Yourself Change, But By Becoming Conscious Of What's Not Working.

We Are Attracted To People Who Express The Qualities We Deny Or Repress In Ourselves.

Spiritual Healing Occurs As We Begin To Consciously Reconnect With Our Essential Being - The Wise, Loving, Powerful, Creative Entity That We Are At Our Core.

Whatever Our Individual Troubles And Challenges May Be, It’s Important To Pause Every Now And Then To Appreciate All That We Have, On Every Level. We Need To Literally 'count Our Blessings,' Give Thanks For Them, Allow Ourselves To Enjoy Them, And Relish The Experience Of Prosperity We Already Have.

All Of Us As Human Beings Are Connected By One Energy And Consciousness. So We All Affect Each Other And Everything That's Happening In The World Affects Us Individually. And What We're Each Doing As An Individual Affects What's Going On In The World.

Eventually I Lost Interest In Trying To Control My Life, To Make Things Happen In A Way That I Thought I Wanted Them To Be. I Began To Practice Surrendering To The Universe And Finding Out What "it" Wanted Me To Do.

... Consciousness Is An Ever-unfolding, Deepening, And Expanding Process With No End Point. We Are Infinite And Complex Beings, And Our Human Journey Involves Not Just A Spiritual Awakening, But The Development Of All Levels Of Our Being - Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, And Physical - And The Integration Of All These Aspects Into A Healthy And Balanced Daily Life.

This Morning Take A Few Minutes To Reflect On How You Give Of Yourself To The World. Often We Get Caught Up In The Frenzy Of Buying And Giving Things. Look At The Ways You Give Appreciation, Friendship, Energy, Time, Love, And Affection, And Give Of Your Own Special Talents And Abilities Throughout The Year. Acknowledge Yourself For Having Enriched The Lives Of Others. Spend Some Time Loving Yourself For The Giving Light That You Are.

The Body Is Our Primary Feedback Mechanism Which Can Show Us What Is And Isn't Working About Our Ways Of Thinking, Expressing, And Living. As We Live Our Truth More Fully And Freely, Our Body Grows Healthier, Stronger, And More Beautiful.

If You Are Trying To Appear Calm And Collected On The Outside When Actually You Are Feeling Upset And Angry, Your Children May Mirror This To You By Becoming Wild And Disruptive. While You Are Trying To Maintain Control, They Pick Up The Chaotic Energy Inside Of You And Reflect It In Their Behavior. If You Express Directly What You Are Feeling, Without Trying To Cover It Up, They Will Usually Calm Down. They Feel Comfortable With The Truth, The Congruity Between Your Feelings And Your Words. This Is True Of Other Relationships As Well.

As Human Beings We Have Vulnerabilities. We Also Have Power, But We Can't Just Be Powerful All The Time.

I Believe We Are All Geniuses-each In Our Own Unique Way.

An Affirmation Is A Strong, Positive Statement That Something Is Already So.

Many Of Us Have A Tendency To Deny Any Negative Feelings. We Judge Them As "bad" Or "unenlightened" When, In Fact, They Are Our Stepping Stone To Enlightenment. Our So-called Negative Feelings Or Attitudes Are Really Parts Of Ourselves That Need Recognition, Love, And Healing. Not Only Is It Safe And Healthy To Acknowledge And Accept All Of Our Feelings And Beliefs, It Is Necessary, If We Are To Get In Touch With The Fears And Pockets Of Blocked Energy That Are Holding Us Back From What We Want.

We All Have Within Us A Deep Wisdom, But Sometimes We Don't Know We Have It. We Live In A Culture That Doesn't Acknowledge Or Validate Human Intuition And Doesn't Encourage Us To Rely On Our Intuitive Wisdom. Much Of The Western World Emphasizes Rationality And Reason, But Overlooks Or Ignores The Enormous Value Of Intuition And Instinctive Wisdom.

As We Begin To Love And Appreciate Ourselves As We Are, Our Channels Open And We Access The Infinite Vitality Of Life Force.

We All Have Within Us A Deep Wisdom, But Sometimes We Don't Know We Have It.

Very Seldom Do We Receive Any Support For Trusting Ourselves, Listening To Our Own Sense Of Inner Truth, And Expressing Ourselves In A Direct And Honest Way.

I Do Believe That One Of The Major Ways That We're Out Of Alignment With Our Souls Is In Our Disconnect From Nature. I Feel That We Have Kind Of Lost Our Natural Way Of Being Connected To The Planet. We Need To Be Rooted On The Planet. We Experience Ourselves As Kind Of Isolated From That, And I Actually Think That's A Great Cause Of The Suffering That Many Of Us Are Experiencing, Whether Consciously Or Unconsciously.

There Is A Universal, Intelligent, Life Force That Exists Within Everyone And Everything. It Resides Within Each One Of Use As A Deep Wisdom, An Inner Knowing. We Can Access This Wonderful Source Of Knowledge And Wisdom Through Our Intuition, An Inner Sense That Tells Us What Feels Right And True For Us At Any Given Moment.

We Don't Have In Our Culture A Healthy Understanding And Respect For The Value Of Being, Which Is Simply Being Present In The Moment, Not Trying To Go Somewhere, Not Trying To Accomplish Anything But, Just Present.

The People We Are In Relationships With Are Always A Mirror, Reflecting Our Own Beliefs, And Simultaneously We Are Mirrors, Reflecting Their Beliefs.

Receiving And Giving Are Opposite Energies That Are Inextricably Linked Together In The Natural Flow Of Life, Like Inhaling And Exhaling. If One Aspect Of That Cycle Doesn't Function, The Entire Cycle Ceases To Function And The Life Force Cannot Move Freely. If You Can't Inhale, You Will Soon Have Nothing To Exhale, And Before Long, Your Body Will Be Unable To Continue Living.

When We Create Something, We Always Create It First In A Thought Form. If We Are Basically Positive In Attitude, Expecting And Envisioning Pleasure, Satisfaction And Happiness, We Will Attract And Create People, Situations, And Events Which Conform To Our Positive Expectations.

Many Of Us Have Had The Attitude That Life Is Something That Happens To Us And That All We Can Do Is Make The Best Of It. It Is Basically A Victim's Position, Giving Power To People And Things Outside Of Ourselves. We Are Beginning To Realize That The Power Rests In Us, That We Can Choose To Create Our Life The Way We Want It To Be.

Spirit Is The Essence Of Consciousness, The Energy Of The Universe That Creates All Things. Each One Of Us Is A Part Of That Spirit - A Divine Entity. So The Spirit Is The Higher Self, The Eternal Being That Lives Within Us.

In The Western World There Isn't Much Value Given To The Necessity For Just Being Quiet. And Just Resting, And Just Being, Without A Focus Or A Goal. At Least A Certain Amount In Our Lives - We Don't Need To Do Half And Half; It's Okay If We're Doing A Lot Of Doing, We Just Need Some Being Mixed In.

Personal Healing On All Levels - Physical, Emotional, Mental, And Spiritual Comes When We Get In Touch With Our Disowned Energies.... Through Integrating All Aspects Of Ourselves, We Become Whole.

The Disowned Parts Of Ourselves Are What Get In The Way Of Us Having The Relationships We Long For, The Careers We Don't Know How To Create, And The Goals We Want To Achieve. As We Acknowledge This And Begin To Love And Appreciate Ourselves As We Are, Our Channel Opens And We Have Available To Us The Infinite Vitality, Beauty, And Magnetism Of The Life Force.

Your Body May Tell You To Change Certain Habits, Eat More Wholesome Food, Express Some Feelings, Quit Your Job, See A Doctor, Or It May Have Some Other Message For You, But There Is Always An Answer Available To You. The Key Is To Ask And Then Listen Honestly For A Response.

Work And Play Can Be The Same. When You Are Following Your Energy And Doing What You Want To Do All The Time, The Distinction Between Work And Play Dissolves. Work Is No Longer What You Have To Do, And Play What You Want To Do. When You Are Doing What You Love, You May Work Harder And Produce More Than Ever Before, Because You Are Having Fun.

We Always Attract Into Our Lives Whatever We Think About Most, Believe In Most Strongly, Expect On The Deepest Level, And Imagine Most Vividly.

A Deadness Occurs In Relationships When People Are No Longer Willing To Tell Each Other How They Really Feel.

While Prosperity Is In Some Ways Related To Money, It Is Not Caused By Money.

People Are Often Very Frightened Of Their Anger. They Feel It Will Cause Them To Do Something Harmful. If You Have This Fear, Create A Safe Situation Where You Can Express Your Anger, Alone Or With A Trusted Therapist Or Friend. Allow Yourself To Talk Angrily, Shout, Hit Pillows, Whatever You Feel Like. Once You've Done This In A Safe Environment, You Will Have Released Some Of The Charge, And You Can Look Underneath The Anger To Find What You Need To Do To Take Better Care Of Yourself. Like Any Emotion, Anger Is A Valuable Tool, Teaching Us Who We Are And How We Feel.

It Isn't Necessary To Be Perfect To Be A Channel For The Universe. You Just Have To Be Real- Be Yourself. The More Real, Honest, And Spontaneous You Are, The More Freely The Creative Force Can Flow Through You.
