When The Film [certified Copy] Was In The Cannes Festival, I Realized That The Fact Of Having It Shot In A Different Culture, In A Different Language, In A Different Setting, That Wasn't Mine And That I Didn't Belong To, Gave Me A Totally Different Relationship To The Film. When I Was Sitting In The Audience During The Official Screening In Cannes, I Didn't Feel That It Was My Film.

This Was Pointed Out To Me By Somebody Who Referred To The Paintings Of Rembrandt And His Use Of Light: Some Elements Are Highlighted While Others Are Obscured Or Even Pushed Back Into The Dark. And It's Something That We Do - We Bring Out Elements That We Want To Emphasise.

Religion Works On Some People But Not On Everyone, Because It Says, 'stop Thinking And Accept What I Tell You.' That's Not Valid For People Who Want To Think And Reflect.
