Universality Has Been Severely Reduced: It Is Virtually Dead As A Concept In Most Areas Of Public Policy.

I'm Not Trying To Be Diplomatic. I'm Trying To Be More Nuanced And Realistic. I Think There Has To Be A Serious Examination Of The Shortcomings Of The Euro Structure. Euro Central Institutions, Whether It Be Fiscal Policy, Monetary Policy, Financial Regulation, Are Simply Not As Robust As They Are In A Currency That Has A National Government Behind It.

There's Unfortunately A View Of Too Many People In Atlantic Canada That It's Only Through Government Favours That There's Going To Be Economic Progress, Or That's What You Look To That Kind Of Can't-do Attitude Is A Problem In This Country But It's Obviously More Serious In Regions That Have Had Have-not Status For A Long Time.

I Believe That All Taxes Are Bad.

Human Rights Commissions, As They Are Evolving, Are An Attack On Our Fundamental Freedoms And The Basic Existence Of A Democratic Society... It Is In Fact Totalitarianism. I Find This Is Very Scary Stuff.

America, And Particularly Your Conservative Movement, Is A Light And An Inspiration To People In This Country And Across The World.

The Media Is Tremendously Important For All Governments That Are Able To Communicate Through The It. It Doesn't Mean There Is A Balance Of Editorial Opinion That Favors What You Are Doing Or That The Opposition Doesn't Have Its Voice, But You Have To Be Able To Effectively Communicate Your Story Through The Media.

If We Start Thinking Simply Nationally, And We Start Having Policies That Try And Restrict The Benefits Only Within Our Borders, And Try And Implement Protectionist Measures As A Consequence, This Will Not Have The Effect We Need To Have On The Global Economy. And That's Ultimately The Global Economy That's Pulling Most Of Us Down, Particularly Countries Like Canada, That Aren't The Source Of These Current Economic Troubles.

But I'm Very Libertarian In The Sense That I Believe In Small Government And, As A General Rule, I Don't Believe In Imposing Values Upon People.

Canada Is A Vast And Empty Country.

There Is A Canadian Culture That Is In Some Ways Unique To Canada, But I Don't Think Canadian Culture Coincides Neatly With Borders.

It Is Imperative To Take The Initiative, To Build Firewalls Around Alberta, To Limit The Extent To Which An Aggressive And Hostile Federal Government Can Encroach Upon Legitimate Provincial Jurisdiction.

Today, We Are Tabling A Motion Seeking The Support Of The House For The Government's Decision To Renew Our Military Mission Against Isil For Up To An Additional 12 Months. Our Objectives Remain The Same: We Intend To Continue To Degrade The Capabilities Of Isil, That Is, To Degrade Its Ability To Engage In Military Movements Of Scale, To Operate Bases In The Open, To Expand Its Presence In The Region, And To Propagate Attacks Outside The Region.

The Leader Of The Opposition's Constitutional Obligation - The Obligation To Parliament - It's The Reason We Did The Merger! - Is To Make Sure Canadians Have An Alternative For Government.
