A Number Of Investor-owned Utilities Stopped Investing In The Maintenance And Repair Of Their Own Equipment, And, Instead, Cut Costs To Enhance The Value Of Their Stock Rather Than Spending Money To Enhance The Value Of Their Service.

The Only Way To Meet Pressing Social Needs And Be Fiscally Responsible Is To Cut The Runaway Pentagon Budget, Which Now Almost Equals The Military Spending Of All Other Countries In The World Combined.
