Children Should Not Go Hungry In This Country While Profitable Corporations And The Wealthy Avoid Their Tax Responsibilities By Stashing Their Money In The Cayman Islands.

I Believe In Public Funding Of Elections, Absolutely. But This System Iscurrently Very Antiquated And No Longer Applies To Modern Day Politics.

As A Result Of The Citizens United Supreme Court Decision, American Democracy Is Being Undermined By The Ability Of The Koch Brothers And Other Billionaire Families. These Wealthy Contributors Can Literally Buy Politicians And Elections By Spending Hundreds Of Millions Of Dollars In Support Of The Candidates Of Their Choice. I Think The Issue Of Income And Wealth Inequality Is In Fact A Moral Issue.

Black People Are Dying In This Country Because We Have A Criminal Justice System Which Is Out Of Control, A System In Which Over 50% Of Young African American Kids Are Unemployed. It Is Estimated That A Black Baby Born Today Has A One In Four Chance Of Ending Up In The Criminal Justice System.

The Only Way Change Happens Is When People Become More Significantly Involved In The Political Process. We Have To Increase Voter Turnout And Citizen Participation So That People Know What's Going On And Demand A Government That Works For Everybody And Not Just The One Percent.
