We Must Fundamentally Restructure Our Student Loan Program. It Makes No Sense That Students And Their Parents Are Forced To Pay Interest Rates For Higher Education Loans That Are Much Higher Than They Pay For Car Loans Or Housing Mortgages.

When The Average Social Security Benefit Is $1328 A Month, And More Than One-third Of Our Senior Citizens Rely On Social Security For Virtually All Of Their Income, Our Job Is To Expand Benefits, Not Cut Them.

I Took An Oath To Support And Defend The Constitution Of The United States, And I'm Concerned That Voting For This [anti-terrorism] Legislation Fundamentally Violates That Oath.

Defy The Pundits Again And Reach For A High Voter Turnout That'll Shock The Establishment.

I Think, While It Is True That The Hillary Clinton And I Voted Differently On The War In Iraq, What Is Important Is That We Learn The Lesson Of The War In Iraq. And That Lesson Is Intrinsic To My Foreign Policy If Elected President, Is The United States Cannot Do It Alone. We Cannot Be The Policeman Of The World. We Are Now Spending More I Believe Than The Next Eight Countries On Defense. We Have Got To Work In Strong Coalition With The Major Powers Of The World And With Those Muslim Countries That Are Prepared To Stand Up And Take On Terrorism.

In 2013 Citigroup Had Profits Of $6.4 Billion In The United States. They Paid No Federal Income Tax And, In Fact, Received A Rebate From The Irs Of $260 Million. That Same Year J.p. Morgan Had $17.2 Billion In Profits In The U.s. They Also Paid No Federal Income Tax. Do You Think It's Time For Tax Reform?

When One Family Can Raise As Much As An Entire Party, The System Is Broken. This Is Oligarchy, Not Democracy. We Must Overturn Citizens United.

What A Grassroots Party Is About Is People Getting Excited, Getting Involved In The Local Political Process, Saying, We Want Our Candidate To Run For Office, We Want Him To Run For Office, And We're Going To Get Involved And Make Sure That He Or She Wins.

One Of The Issues I'm Really Happy About Is That Recently, Secretary Clinton And I Worked Out An Agreement On Higher Education, Making Public Colleges And Universities Tuition Free For Every Family In America Earning Less Than 125,000 Bucks. Didn't Go As Far As I Wanted. But That's 83 Percent Of The Population In This Country.

I Think Our Message,the Clinton Campaign Was Very Strong. Remember, This Is Their Fourth Campaign In South Carolina. Two For Bill Clinton. Two For Hillary Clinton. They Had It Well Organized. They Did Well. And Icongratulate Them. We Came Into That State At Something Like 7 Or 8 Percent In The Polls. It Was A Tough Road For Us To Hoe. But I Want To Thank All Of Our Supporters, The Members Of The South Carolina State Legislature.

It's Not In The Interest Of The Corporations Who Own The Networks To Actually Be Educating The American People So That Are Debating The Real Issues. It's Much Better To Deflect Attention Away From Issues And Get Into The Story Of The Day.

I Think, You Know, That Trump Has Been Incredibly Divisive. I Think He's Insulted Almost Every Group In America. I Think His Policies Are Outrageous. But In America, People Have A Right To Hold Rallies.
