May No One Use Religion As A Pretext For Actions Against Human Dignity And Against The Fundamental Rights Of Every Man And Woman.

We Also Try To Reach Out To People Who Are Far Away, Via Digital Means, The Web And Brief Messaging.

The Church, In Her Wisdom, Maintains The Distinction Between Engaged And Married Couples -- They Are Not The Same, Today's Culture And Society Have Become Rather Indifferent To The Delicate And Serious Nature Of This Passage.

Sometimes We Are Saddened By The Weight Of Our Sins. May We Not Be Discouraged. Christ Has Come To Lift This Burden And Give Us Peace.

So Let Us Ask Ourselves This Evening, In Adoring Christ Who Is Really Present In The Eucharist: Do I Let Myself Be Transformed By Him? Brothers And Sisters, Following, Communion, Sharing. We Have Begun A Throw Away Culture. This Tendency Is Seen On The Level Of Individuals And Whole Societies; And It Is Being Promoted! In Circumstances Like These, Solidarity, Which Is The Treasure Of The Poor, Is Often Considered Counterproductive, Opposed To The Logic Of Finance And The Economy. While The Income Of A Minority Is Increasing Exponentially, That Of The Majority Is Crumbling.

While All Too Many People Live In Dire Poverty, Others Are Caught Up In Materialism And Lifestyles Which Are Destructive Of Family Life And The Most Basic Demands Of Christian Morality.

The Blood Of Our Christian Brothers Is A Witness That Cries Out..if They Are Catholic, Orthodox, Copts, Lutherans, It Is Not Important : They Are Christians. The Blood Is The Same: It Is The Blood Which Confesses Christ.

Every Christian Is A Missionary To The Extent That He Or She Bears Witness To God’s Love. Be Missionaries Of God’s Tenderness!

I Had The Habit Of Not Accepting Prizes Or Honors, But Always, Not Out Of Humility, But Because I Don't Like Them.

Are We Capable Of Bringing The Word Of God Into The Environment In Which We Live? Do We Know How To Speak Of Christ, Of What He Represents For Us, In Our Families, Among The People Who Form Part Of Our Daily Lives? Faith Is Born From Listening, And Is Strengthened By Proclamation.

We Have Created New Idols. The Worship Of The Ancient Golden Calf (cf. Ex 32:1-35) Has Returned In A New And Ruthless Guise In The Idolatry Of Money And The Dictatorship Of An Impersonal Economy Lacking A Truly Human Purpose. The Worldwide Crisis Affecting Finance And The Economy Lays Bare Their Imbalances And, Above All, Their Lack Of Real Concern For Human Beings; Man Is Reduced To One Of His Needs Alone: Consumption.

These Days There Is A Lot Of Poverty In The World, And That's A Scandal When We Have So Many Riches And Resources To Give To Everyone. We All Have To Think About How We Can Become A Little Poorer.

Be Present To Those Who, Living In The Midst Of A Society Burdened By Poverty And Corruption, Are Broken In Spirit, Tempted To Give Up, To Leave School And To Live On The Streets.

Let's Not Forget That God Never Gets Tired Of Forgiving So Let's Never Get Tired Of Asking For Forgiveness.

If We Are To Know The Lord, We Must Go To Him. Listen To Him In Silence Before The Tabernacle And Approach Him In The Sacraments.

If You Withdraw Into Yourself, You Run The Risk Of Becoming Egocentric. And Stagnant Water Becomes Putrid.

It Is Better To Have A Church That Is Wounded But Out In The Streets Than A Church That Is Sick Because It Is Closed In On Itself.

Wars Are Always Madness: All Is Lost In War, All Is To Be Gained In Peace.

May Both Of Them [saint John Xxiii And Saint John Paul Ii] Teach Us Not To Be Scandalized By The Wounds Of Christ And To Enter Ever More Deeply Into The Mystery Of Divine Mercy, Which Always Hopes And Always Forgives, Because It Always Loves.

In Europe First And Now In America, Elected Men Have Taken It Upon Themselves To Indebt Their People To Create An Atmosphere Of Dependency. And Why? For Their Own Selfish Need To Increase Their Own Personal Power.

When We Are Generous In Welcoming People And Sharing Something With Them-some Food, A Place In Our Homes, Our Time-not Only Do We No Longer Remain Poor: We Are Enriched.
