So In Your Discussions Of The Nuclear Freeze Proposals, I Urge You To Beware The Temptation Of Pride - The Temptation Blithely To Declare Yourselves Above It All And Label Both Sides Equally At Fault, To Ignore The Facts Of History And The Aggressive Impulses Of An Evil Empire, To Simply Call The Arms Race A Giant Misunderstanding And Thereby Remove Yourself From The Struggle Between Right And Wrong, Good And Evil.

I Think, Too, That We've Got To Recognize That Where The Preservation Of A Natural Resource Like The Redwoods Is Concerned, That There Is A Common Sense Limit. It Is Made Up Of Men And Women Who Raise Our Food, Patrol Our Streets, Man Our Mines And Factories, Teach Our Children, Keep Our Homes, And Heal Us When We're Sick - Professionals, Industrialists, Shopkeepers, Clerks, Cabbies, And Truck Drivers. They Are, In Short, "we The People," This Breed Called Americans.

Small Business Is The Gateway To Opportunity For Those Who Want A Piece Of The American Dream... Well, Wouldn't It Be Nice To Hear A Little More About The Forgotten Heroes Of America - Those Who Create Most Of Our New Jobs, Like The Owners Of Stores Down The Street; The Faithfuls Who Support Our Churches, Synagogues, Schools, And Communities; The Brave Men And Women Everywhere Who Produce Our Goods, Feed A Hungry World, And Keep Our Families Warm While They Invest In The Future To Build A Better America?
