Speaking About Family Life, I Would Like To Say One Thing: Today, As Brazil And The Church Around The World Celebrate This Feast Of Saints Joachim And Anne, Grandparents Day Is Also Being Celebrated. How Important Grandparents Are For Family Life, For Passing On The Human And Religious Heritage Which Is So Essential For Each And Every Society! How Important It Is To Have Intergenerational Exchanges And Dialogues, Especially Within The Context Of The Family.

There's Only A Very Small Representation Of Girls Among You. Too Little. Women Have Much To Tell Us In Today’s Society. Sometimes We Are Too Machistas And We Don't Allow Enough Space To Women. But Women Can See Things From A Different Angle To Us, With A Different Eye. Women Are Able To Pose Questions We Men Are Unable To Understand. Look Out For This Fact: She Is The Only One Who Has Put A Question For Which There Is No Answer. She Couldn't Put It Into Words But Expressed It With Tears.

Am I Humble And Do I Listen To Everybody, To Diverse Opinions In Order To Choose The Best Path.’ If You Don’t Ask Those Questions, Your Governance Will Not Be Good.

Take Care Of Brothers And Sisters Who Are Weaker ... The Elderly, The Sick, The Hungry, The Homeless And Strangers, Because We Will Be Judged On This.

The Popes Have Spoken Of Human Ecology, Closely Linked To Environmental Ecology. We Are Living In A Time Of Crisis: We See This In The Environment, But Above All We See This In Mankind Man Is Not In Charge Today, Money Is In Charge, Money Rules. God Our Father Did Not Give The Task Of Caring For The Earth To Money, But To Us, To Men And Women: We Have This Task! Instead, Men And Women Are Sacrificed To The Idols Of Profit And Consumption: It Is The 'culture Of Waste.'
